Handmade in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire from "Silkie" carpet fabricated from cotton and viscose (fibre from plant cellulose and therefore biodegradable in time). This carpet fabric is woven especially for us and is very hard wearing and tactile verging on sensuous! The black cotton twill lining is the best we can find and is used in all the bags (except the Cosmo).
Each bag is unlike any other thanks to the variation in the cutting, each one being individually made which makes them unique. The materials and components we use of the highest quality and sourced as locally as possible, the solid brass fittings used on our Global and Euro Gladstone bags are all handmade for us in the Midlands, where once upon a time we could acquire frames for our Classic handbags but alas now sourced from Europe.
