Soft Luggage - Frame Handbags - Gladstone Bags
Handmade in East Anglia from "Silkie" carpet, fabricated from cotton and viscose (fibre from plant cellulose and therefore biodegradable in time), our fine selection of durable yet soft luggage and handbags have stood the test of time. The carpet fabric we use is woven especially for us and is very hard wearing and tactile, almost verging on sensuous! The black cotton twill lining is the best we can find and is used in all the bags, including our famous Gladstone bags.
Each bag is unlike any other thanks to the variation in the cutting; with each one of our frame handbags, soft shoulder bags and luggage being individually made, making them unique and highly bespoke. The materials and components we use are of the highest quality and sourced as locally as possible, including the solid brass fittings used on our Global and Euro Gladstone bags. Our ever popular frame handbags such as the Classic handbag, the Lucy handbag and theYasmin handbag have been made by us for many years, originally the frames were made for us in Birmingham but alas are now sourced from Europe.
