Shipping and Tax
Shipping within the UK is by Royal Mail First Class Post Recorded or Special Delivery or carrier, and is charged by weight in the following increments:
- Band 1 - Up to 500 grams = £3
- Band 2 - 500 grams – 1 kg = £6
- Band 3 - 1 kg – 2 kg = £10
- Band 4 - 2 kg – 3 kg = £15
- Band 5 - 3 kg – 5 kg = £20
- Band 6 - 5 kg - 7 kg = £30
- Band 7 - 7 kg - 10 kg = £40
- Band 8 - Over 10 kg = 5% of your order value
- Overseas orders will attract an additional surcharge of 10% of your order value for Europe, and 15% for the rest of the world.
We endeavour to ship your order as soon as possible, and normally supply within 7 working days, but due to the handmade nature of the goods, we occasionally ask you to allow up to 4 weeks for delivery in the UK and Europe, and up to 6 weeks in the rest of the world.
Carpet bags are the perfect gift for special occasions such as birthdays, Mothers day and Christmas.
Please order well in advance to avoid disappointment. State in the message section of the checkout, the date the item is required for, or telephone your order with a special request and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes or let you know if we are not able to.
All our prices are inclusive of UK VAT charged at 20%. If your goods are being shipped internationally, the VAT will automatically be deducted at the checkout stage and the appropriate shipping charges added.
We also deliver tax-free to BFPO addresses. Simply fill in your details as usual, and from the Country drop down list, select UK-BFPO, and the VAT will be deducted automatically from your order.
If for any reason you need to return an item the refund will be less the original P&P.
