Carpet Fabrics
All our carpets are made of cotton with 100% viscose pile. They are all extremely hard wearing yet silky and soft to the touch and light in weight, Jewel and Talya have a thicker pile which adds a little more weight. The exception to these is the Kelim which is a flatweave carpet fabric made from 100% cotton. They are showerproof ...water tends to run off the pile... however they are not waterproof and will soak up water eventually. We recommend spraying with a product such as "Scotchguard" to protect from dirt and water. Dry cleaning is recommended by the manufacturers. Foam carpet cleaners work well too, although cleaning is not necessary for some time.
Patterns and colour may vary slightly from the images on each bag shown due to different carpet batches and the handmade nature of the bags.
